Flight Model Engineer m / f / d

Your Responsibilities

For this position you should have 5+ years of experience in:
 
Modelling of flight models (aerodynamic, ground reaction, flight controls, engine) for Full Flight Simulators, based on:
  • Flight Tests
  • Scientific Research
  • CFD / Wind Tunnel
  • Analysis of flight test data
  • Usage of parameter estimation tools and methods
  • Development, maintenance and updating of estimation and simulation tools

 Integration, validation and acceptance tests of Full Flight Simulators:
  • QTG test setup and tuning
  • QTG Document setup
  • Test lead during in-plant and onsite acceptance
  • Lead during FAA / EASA initial qualifications

Your Profile

  • Deep understanding of aerodynamics and the physics behind
  • Deep understanding of the operation and qualification of a full flight simulator
  • Confident knowledge of Matlab / Simulink
  • Solid knowledge of at least one coding language such as C++ or Python
  • Experience in simulation of control systems
  • Independent working style and solution oriented
  • Team player and open to new solutions
  • Willingness to travel

The minimum monthly gross salary for this position is € 2.727,40 according to the collective agreement (metal industry). Depending on qualifications and professional experience, we offer you a market-based salary.
